Before and After
When we met with Dr Julie to discuss the re-development of her website, the conversation turned to the old classic "before and after" shots. Some time later we were discussing it again and I don`t quite know how but the suggestion was made that "You should be our before and after girl!". The professionals at Bradford Cosmedical undertook to transform me - the results speak for themselves!

What was the Treatment like? The products Jane prescribed have been great:
Were there any side or after effects? Some of the products can feel a bit stingy, I guess that`s how you know they`re working. How do you feel about the results? It`s difficult to say what has made the most difference, all I know is that my skin looks and feels better. |

What was the Treatment like? The Muscle Relaxant Treatment was very quick and virtually painless. Were there any side or after effects? I was warned of possible side effects such as headaches but didn`t experience any of these. How do you feel about the results? I think the results of this particular treatment have been outstanding. The reduction in the wrinkles on my forehead and around the eyes are truly amazing! |

Treatment: Dermal Fillers to lips and mid-face |

What was the Treatment like? The fillers in my forehead were just like a little pinch. Ice was applied to the area when the mid-face (cheekbones) fillers were applied so the procedure was only slightly uncomfortable. Dr. Julie gave me a local for the Lip Augmentation which was propably the worst part! Were there any side or after effects? My lips were sore to smile for a few hours after the treatment, all other areas were fine. How do you feel about the results? The results of the Dermal Fillers are wonderful. This is probably something that I didn`t even consider that I needed but the results are just amazing. The mid-face plumping has taken years off me and I particularly like the way it has relieved the wrinkles on my upper lip. The look is much softer than I`d have thought and very natural. Now I have cheekbones that I never had before and my lips are now just a little more `pouty` - it makes me want to wear lipstick again! |

What was the Treatment like? A gel was applied to my face an hour before the treatment so it was quite numb. Jane made sure that the cool air was blowing on the area which makes a big difference. The treatment could be described as "uncomfortable" but I didn`t really find it to be overly unpleasant. Were there any side or after effects? After my first Fraxel there was some redness and swelling for a couple of days and there was some peeling about a week after. Mineral makeup was able to cover the redness and the swelling was not overly noticable. I responded to the second and third treatments much better. How do you feel about the results? The results have been fantastic. There has been a massive improvement in the tone and quality of my skin and I notice particularly the reduction in "crows feet" around my eyes. For someone who has always suffered with difficult, "spotty" skin, the treament is a revelation! Even without make-up my skin is smooth and blemish free. I only wish I`d been able to have the treament years ago! |

What was the Treatment like? Very quick and mostly painless. The Laser feels like a little pinch and it`s all over in a matter of minutes. It`s probably less painfull than waxing the same area. Were there any side or after effects? No, I was warned that the area might feel a bit `sunburned`, but I didn`t notice anything. How do you feel about the results? It`s great to be rid of this unsightly problem forever! The hair removal only works on the dark hairs, jut leaving the fine blonde ones that most everyone has. |

What was the Treatment like? The Laser feels like a hot pinch similiar to the Hair Removal. Because it was done all over my face, neck, chest and shoulders it took longer. Were there any side or after effects? The skin on chest particularly was quite red at first, over the next week or so this settled to blotchy dry skin that eventually disappeared to reveal new skin underneath that doesn`t have the pigmentation. The exfoliating cleanser product really helped with this process. How do you feel about the results? It`s amazing to see the new skin poking out from underneath. |

What was the Treatment like? Quick and painless, there was very little discomfort. Were there any side or after effects? No. Sunscreen and ID Mineral Makeup were applied after the treament. There were no noticable signs that I`d had any treament at all. How do you feel about the results? Great! The skin on my face felt and appeared much smoother. |
